We want as many people as possible to be able to attend our classes and courses. We will endeavour to do our utmost to accommodate everybody. Please contact Julia in advance/prior to booking to discuss your individual requirements and we will work with you to provide solutions.

Studio visitors, workshop or course attendees.

We warmly welcome all visitors and attendees to our studio, classes and courses but in order to help us keep visitors and attendees safe during the current Covid-19 emergency, please be advised of the following policy and action to take before arrival to the studio or for a class or course.

a) If visitors and attendees are currently presenting flu-like symptoms, regardless of possible contact with a confirmed coronavirus case, they must not come to the studio or attend the class or course until they are symptom-free.

b) Visitors and attendees must confirm that they have not recently travelled from, or knowingly been in contact with someone who has travelled from any of the named countries listed in Public Health England advisory information without having undergone the advised action relating to 14 days self-isolation and, if recently symptomatic, they have been screen tested in the UK through NHS111 service and been given a negative result.

c) Visitors must confirm that they have not knowingly been in close contact with anyone with a confirmed case of Coronavirus. Close contact means living in the same house, contact with their bodily fluids. For example, being coughed or sneezed on, or being within 2m of the person for more than a few minutes.

e) During their time in the studio or at a class or course visitors must please act in a way so as to avoid the spread of the virus through their best endeavours as recommended by the NHS https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

You will be emailed this policy at the time of booking a visit to the studio, a class or course. Please acknowledge receipt and confirm that you will abide by this policy by email to Julia:

At the beginning of the current Covid-19 emergency, we carried out an initial risk assessment. We complete daily risk assessments and we continually keep up to date with Government guidance to ensure that our studio, class and course space/venues are safe and clean.

We have registered for the Government/NHS Coronavirus (COVID-19) ‘Track and Trace QR poster’ scheme.

This will be available for our class and course attendees and for people attending any meetings or consultations to scan on entry.

You will need to download the NHS Track and Trace App prior to your visit to our ‘Flower Studio’ if you wish to scan the Track and Trace QR.

If you do not have the NHS Track and Trace App we will use your class or course booking information for the purpose of Track and Trace.

For those attending a meeting or consultation we will ask you for your contact details.

We endeavour to provide handwashing facilities with running water, soap and paper towels at our classes and courses, however, in the event that the workshop or course venue does not have hand washing facilities we will provide hand sanitiser.

* we make sure that surfaces are cleaned with an antibacterial cleaning agent regularly and after every class and course

* we clean tools and equipment frequently and after every class and course

* we clean work areas and equipment between uses and after every class and course

* we frequently clean and disinfect objects and surfaces that are touched regularly

* we wash aprons and ‘mop up’ cloths after every class and course

We strive to organise our deliveries in routes to reduce our carbon footprint.

Delivery charges from our ‘Flower Studio’, White Lion Antiques, Hartley Wintney, Hampshire. RG27 8AE

Within 10 miles - No delivery charge

Within 15 miles - £5.00 delivery charge

Beyond 15 miles - please contact to discuss the delivery charge

We can not always guarantee an exact delivery time, however, we will inform you if it will be a morning or afternoon delivery. It may be that on occasions we can only confirm that delivery will be on the day requested.

We will always ask you when/if the recipient will be at the delivery address on the requested day and requested time of the delivery. If no one is at the delivery address we will leave the order in a ‘safe/secure’ place and will let you know that we have done this.

We will leave the order with a neighbouring property to the delivery address if you have requested us to do so.

We will only attempt to deliver your order once; your order will be returned to our ‘Flower Studio’ and will await your collection at a mutually agreed time.

It may be possible for us to deliver the flowers from a 'failed' delivery for an additional delivery charge.

We encourage all attendees at classes and courses and our clients to give us feedback about their experience.

We actively encourage a two-way conversation about anything that has caused/is causing concern.

Feedback can be given verbally in person, by telephone, or in writing by email.

We aim to be as open, honest and as straightforward as possible with attendees and clients in order to maintain a constructive two way flow of communication.

*Covid-19 emergency

During the current Covid-19 emergency please contact Julia on 07393022380 and email julia@julialynnfloraldesign.com as soon as possible to inform about your non-attendance. We will discuss on a case by case basis your current circumstances and if a place on a class or course on alternative date/time can be offered to you.

If alternative class or course dates are offered to you and you are unable to attend on one of the alternative class or course dates you will forfeit the full cost/payment.

In the event of a National or Hart District Council Local Authority area ‘Covid-19 Lockdown’ or in the event of Government making further amendments to the current Covid-19 restrictions Julia Lynn Floral Design will endeavour to look at alternative ways to enable the class or course to continue; this may be by:

  • rearranging to teach as a 1:1 class/course or in smaller groups or

  • delivering all materials with written ‘step by step’ instructions to your home address for you to create the floral/foliage design in your own home

  • providing access to a recorded ‘step by step video of the class/course

  • providing access to a ‘live’ recording of the class/course

Should a National or Hart District Council Local Authority area ‘Covid-19 Lockdown’ prevent any of the above options being feasible then an alternative class/course will be offered when the ‘Covid-19 Lockdown’ period ends/restrictions are eased..

No money will be refunded as an alternative class/course will be available to you within a year of the missed class/course at a mutually agreed date/time.
