I am Julia, the face behind Julia Lynn Floral Design.

I am a British floral designer based in our studio in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire in the grounds of White Lion Antiques.

The studio is situated on the North Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire borders with easy access to the M3, M4 and M25

Floristry was a career change for me in later life and I have not looked back.

Having trained at a private flower school and following redundancy from a job I did for over 10 years I decided to follow my lifelong flower passion and combine the knowledge, skills and experience I gained from working for Central Government, for three local authorities, the NHS, Early Years Settings, Local Authority schools and Independent schools into my self-employment as a floral designer and provider of our courses and of our 'Power of the Flower' and 'Petal Power' floral workshops.

Floristry is not such a change of career but more of a returning to 'my roots' and following not only my passion for being outdoors and flowers but following the life long passion of my parents. My father ran a thriving garden landscaping business all of his life and for many years as a family, we lived on a smallholding which was a garden centre and farm shop too. I spent many hours with my parents at the wholesalers and working in the garden centre/farm shop, while also tending to the many animals; I adored my horses.

I love to teach; I am always being told by family, friends and past work colleagues that I am a 'people person' that is sincere, nurturing, shows empathy, listens and that I am an enabler who wants to help others develop and achieve.

I would love to create bespoke floral/foliage designs for you and/or meet you at our courses and workshops.

I hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate for children and adults.

I also have an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate and a Pediatric First Aid Certificate.
